Microsoft Silverlight is a development tool for creating applications for the web and mobile devices. Much like Adobe’s Flash it promotes the use of video, sound, animations and vector graphics. It has great built-in support for data bindings, which allows the developer to present data in a rich way that lets the user interact with the content.
Silverlight is a free plug-in compatible with all the major browsers and mobile devices.
